The Director of Leagues is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective operation of League processes, systems, and resources. This role requires a leader who can manage league operations, establish logistics, secure facilities, and foster a Christ-centered environment that promotes spiritual growth alongside athletic excellence. Additionally, this role is pivotal in growing the number of leagues and participants by developing outreach strategies, enhancing program offerings, and fostering relationships within the community. It plays a crucial role in not only developing athletes' skills but also in nurturing their spiritual growth and fostering a community grounded in Christian values. This position requires a dynamic leader who can seamlessly blend sports management with ministry, ensuring a holistic and impactful experience for all participants.
Ministerial Duties
These responsibilities are critical to the FCA mission, and this position plays a vital role in our ministry. FCA expects all functions and responsibilities outlined below to be carried out with a heart surrendered to serving God as a form of worship.
Role Responsibilities
At Battlefield FCA, the Director of Leagues is not here to simply run seasons, schedules, and systems — this leader helps build a sports ministry movement through sport. We are creating league environments where competition is strong, leadership is intentional, families are connected, and the Gospel is clearly seen and heard. This role is about building something far bigger than a league experience. It is about using sport as a platform to reach people, develop leaders, and create lasting Kingdom impact.
We are looking for a leader who thrives in the tension of ministry and execution — someone who can build strong systems, lead people well, solve problems quickly, and keep the mission at the center. At Battlefield FCA, leagues should feel organized, trusted, Christ-centered, and full of purpose. Every detail matters because every athlete, coach, and family matters.
The Director of Leagues will help shape a culture where coaches are developed, athletes are discipled, volunteers are empowered, and families experience more than just a sports program. We want our leagues to become ministry platforms that open doors for relationships, spiritual conversations, and life change across our region.
This is a role for a builder, a leader, and a missionary-minded operator. Someone who can cast vision, own the details, and help establish leagues that reflect excellence, courage, and deep Gospel purpose. At Battlefield FCA, we are not just running leagues. We are building environments where the mission of Jesus moves forward through sport.
