Security GuardU.S. Main Patrol Division is an up-and-coming Security Firm that provides services to various companies in Washington D.C. and Maryland.Job SummaryWe are seeking to hire several professional Armed/Unarmed Security Guard to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment. You will protect our premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal candidate has experience with public safety and security and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times. We are looking for hardworking, motivated, driven individuals to work evenings, overnights, and weekends. Weekends will be mandatory. Due to nature of the job, you must have a reliable means of transportation and a working/reliable phone. Security licensing, baton, handcuffs, OC Spray Credentials will be needed to successfully perform the duties outlined below.ResponsibilitiesPatrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibilityMonitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facilityRemove trespassers when necessaryMonitor surveillance camerasRespond to reports of suspicious activityReport on daily activities and any security incidentsInteract courteously with the general public and various property managementQualificationsAt least two years of previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar positionMust be 21 years of age or olderClean criminal record (No felonies or misdemeanors deferred or otherwise)Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferredHigh school diploma/GEDStrong understanding of public safety and security proceduresExcellent written communication skills and report writing abilityAbility to operate surveillance equipmentHigh level of integrity and professionalism - Maintaining a positive attitude at all timesAttention to detail and strong observational skillsAbility to work without direct supervisionBe able to stand and walk up to eight hoursCompensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour With over 30 years of experience providing services to Commercial, Residential, and Industrial clients.
